İş-Boş Zaman Çatışması Ölçeğinin Türkçeye Uyarlanması: Güvenilirlik ve Geçerlilik Çalışması

Öz

Bu araştırmada, Tsaur, Liang ve Hsu (2012) tarafından geliştirilen İş–Boş Zaman Çatışması Ölçeği’nin (İBZÇÖ) Türkçeye uyarlanması ve psikometrik özelliklerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ölçek, çatışmayı çift yönlü ve üç alt boyutlu bir yapı olarak ele almaktadır. Çeviri, uzman değerlendirmesi ve dil eşdeğerliği incelemelerinin ardından ölçeğin Türkçe formu oluşturulmuştur. Veriler, 2025 yılında İstanbul’daki konaklama işletmelerinde çalışan 282 kişiden toplanmıştır. Açımlayıcı ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizleri, özgün ölçekte önerilen altı boyutlu yapının Türkçe formda korunduğunu göstermiştir. Uyum indeksleri kabul edilebilir düzeyde, iç tutarlılık katsayıları ise yüksek bulunmuştur. Bununla birlikte, ayrışım geçerliği bulguları özellikle aynı çatışma yönü altındaki bazı alt boyutlarda sınırlı ayrışma olabileceğine işaret etmektedir. İBZÇÖ’nün Türkçe formu kabul edilebilir geçerlik ve yüksek güvenirlik göstergeleri sunmakta; ancak yapının özellikle bazı alt boyutlar bakımından temkinli yorumlanması ve gelecekte alternatif modellerle sınanması önerilmektedir.

Adaptation of the Work–Leisure Conflict Scale into Turkish: A Reliability and Validity Study

Öz

This study aimed to adapt the Work–Leisure Conflict Scale (WLCS), developed by Tsaur, Liang, and Hsu (2012), into Turkish and to examine its psychometric properties. The scale conceptualizes conflict as bidirectional and multidimensional. The Turkish form was developed through translation, expert evaluation, and language-equivalence procedures. Data were collected from 282 employees working in hospitality enterprises in Istanbul in 2025. Exploratory and confirmatory factor analyses generally supported the original six-factor structure in the Turkish form. Fit indices were at an acceptable level and internal consistency coefficients were high. However, discriminant validity findings suggested that some subdimensions within the same conflict direction may show limited differentiation. Overall, the Turkish WLCS provides acceptable validity evidence and high reliability, although the structure should be interpreted cautiously for some subdimensions and retested with alternative models in future studies.
