Teknostresin İş Tatmini Üzerindeki Etkisinde Temel Benlik Değerlendirmesinin Rolü

Öz

Teknolojinin hızlı dönüşümü ve yoğun temposuyla belirginleşen teknostres çalışanın tatmin düzeyini düşürmeye neden olabilmektedir. Çalışanların bu durumda temel benlik değerlendirmesi yapmaları önem kazanmaktadır. Bu bağlamda araştırmanın amacı, teknostresin iş tatmini üzerindeki etkisinde temel benlik değerlendirmesinin aracı rolü üstlenip üstlenmediğini tespit etmektir. Belirlenen bu amaç doğrultusunda araştırmanın örneklemini 238 banka çalışanı oluşturmaktadır. Veriler online olarak anket yöntemi kullanılarak toplanmış olup AMOS 22 ve Process Makro aracılığıyla analiz edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarında teknostresin temel benlik değerlendirmesini pozitif, iş tatminini ise negatif yönde etkilediği tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca teknostres ile iş tatmini arasındaki ilişkide temel benlik değerlendirmesinin aracılık rolü üstlendiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.

The Role of Core-Self Evaluation in the Effect of Technostress on Job Satisfaction

Öz

Technostress, which is characterized by the rapid transformation and intensive pace of technology, can lead to a decrease in employee satisfaction. In this case, it becomes important for employees to make a core-self evaluation. In this context, the aim of the study is to determine whether core-self evaluation plays a mediating role in the effect of technostress on job satisfaction. In line with this purpose, the sample of the study consists of 238 bank employees. The data were collected online using questionnaire method and analyzed using AMOS 22 and Process Macro. In the results of the analysis, it was determined that technostress positively affected core-self evaluation and negatively affected job satisfaction. In addition, it was concluded core-self evaluation plays a mediating role in the relationship between technostress and job satisfaction.
