This study analyzes the effects of green innovation in the tourism and accommodation sector on innovation-oriented businesses in terms of environmental performance. Businesses need certain technological innovations to reduce their use of fossil fuels, which cause carbon emissions, and switch to environmentally and nature-friendly products and services. This technological change, referred to as green innovation, is made possible by businesses' approach to innovation, their appreciation of new ideas, and their innovation-oriented mindset. The Antalya region, one of the most important tourism destinations, is home to numerous accommodation businesses. The intensive use of natural resources and food, as well as plastic, by these businesses can cause environmental pollution and damage to natural resources. Therefore, businesses must improve their environmental performance through green innovation practices. In this study, a survey was conducted with 200 accommodation business managers in the most intensive tourism centers of the Antalya region. The survey examined the extent to which businesses are innovation-focused and how green innovation practices impact environmental performance. Using the data collected, explanatory and confirmatory factor analyses were conducted, and a multiple regression analysis was performed to draw conclusions.
