Effects of Organizational Trust on Organizational Innovation Orientation and Risk Taking Behavior

Innovation orientation and risk taking behavior in variable and uncertain environmental conditions are very important and effective tools for national and international organizations to survive by gaining competitive advantage. It is the starting point of research on the way in which innovation orientation and risk taking tendency, which have the keys of creating a sustainable competitive advantage globally in Turkey, are influenced by the concept of organizational trust. In this context, this study is to determine whether the confidence prevailing in the target organizations influences organizational innovation orientation and risk taking tendency. Determination of the relationship between trust in the organization and the innovation orientation and risk taking behavior will provide empirical information on how firmly the owners should be pursued to achieve their strategic goals and objectives. The validity of the model on the target sample is discussed in consideration of the compliance indices of the model proposed in the study of the white-collar personnel of a large industrial company. According to the results of the research, trust in the organization affects the risk orientation tendency significantly while affecting the innovation orientation at a low level. Since the results obtained from the analysis of the constructed structural equation model give good values of adaptability at acceptable and acceptable levels model is acceptable ((RMSEA<0.06, GFI=0,90 ve CFI=0.90 ve AGFI>0,91).
