Understanding the variables that affect the
performance of the employees and the relationships between these variables have
the potential to contribute to the effective management of individual
performance. In this study, the mediating role of job engagement was
investigated in order to explain how the effect of core self evaluations on
individual performance occurs. For this purpose, the research data was
collected from 238 employees by questionnaire method and quantitative analyzes
were performed. As a result of the analyzes, it was found that the positive
core self evaluations of the individuals had a significant effect on their
performance and this effect was partly mediated by job engagement. On the other
hand, the effect of negative core self evaluations on performance was full
mediated by job engagement. The findings of the study were discussed in the
context of the literature.

Analizler
sonucunda elde edilen bulgular bireylerin olumlu benlik değerlendirmelerinin
