Growth-oriented economic policies in developing economies cause some environmental problems. Energy consumption is increasing day by day, and this increase brings with it an increase in CO2 emissions. This situation is in the BRICS-T countries, which have recently seen a severe upward trend in growth rates. In this study, the relationship between energy consumption, CO2 emissions and economic growth in BRICS-T countries was investigated by panel analysis. As a result of the survey covering the years 1990-2018, it was determined that there is a bidirectional causality relationship between GDP per capita and CO2 emissions and a one-way causality relationship from GDP per capita to energy consumption per capita.
