Ergenlerde Öznel İyilik Haline İlişkin Bilgi ve Araştırma İlgisinin Haritalandırılması: Bibliyometrik Analiz

Öz

Ergenlik, hızlı büyüme ve fizyolojik, bilişsel, sosyal ve duygusal değişikliklerle karakterize edilen benzersiz bir gelişim aşamasıdır. Bu çalışmada, bibliyometrik analiz yoluyla ergenlerin öznel iyilik hali üzerine yapılan araştırmaların eğilimini incelemeyi amaçlamaktadır. Web of Science (WoS) veritabanında 1992-2024 yılları arasında yapılan ilgili araştırmaların kapsamlı bir taramasının ardından, dahil etme kriterlerimizi göz önünde bulundurarak analiz için toplam 1.464 çalışma seçtik. Bulgular, bu konudaki araştırma ilgisinin 1992-2010 yılları arasında yavaş bir ilerleme gösterdiğini ortaya koydu; ancak 2023 yılında zirveye ulaştığını ortaya koymuştur. Ayrıca, ilgili konuda en etkili on yazarın İspanya'dan olmasına rağmen, üçünün Güney Amerika'dan olduğunu tespit ettik. Bunun yanı sıra, araştırmada en fazla işbirliği yapan ülkeler Çin ve Amerika Birleşik Devletleri olarak belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma, bibliyometrik analiz yoluyla ergenlerin öznel iyilik hali üzerine yapılan araştırmaların mevcut durumunu ortaya koymaktadır. Bulgularımız, farklı kültürel ortamlarda benzer çalışmalar yürüten araştırmacıların çalışmalarına katkı sağlayabilir.

Mapping Knowledge And Research Interest in Subjective Well-Being In Adolescents: A Bibliometric Analysis

Öz

Adolescence is a unique developmental stage characterized by rapid growth and physiological, cognitive, social, and emotional changes. The present study attempts to examine the trend of research on adolescent subjective well-being through bibliometric analysisFollowing an extensive search of relevant research carried out between 1992-2024 in the Web of Science (WoS) database, we recruited a total of 1,464 studies for analysis considering our inclusion criteria. The findings uncovered that the research interest in the subject demonstrated slow progress between 1992-2010; nevertheless, it peaked in 2023. Moreover, we found out that while the ten most influential authors on the relevant subject are from Spain, three are from South America. Besides, the top countries collaborating on the research were found to be China and the United States of America. This study portrays the current state of research on adolescent subjective well-being through a bibliometric analysis. Our findings have the potential to inform the work of researchers engaged in similar studies within different cultural environments.
