Insha in Arabic Literature and the Influence of the Qur'an on the Letters of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh)
Öz
“Insha”, it is the art of
beautiful and artistic writing that deals with generally formal
correspondences. The time in which “insha” art is started is within the period of the prophet
Muhammad (pbuh). This art began with the manner and style that the Prophet Muhammed
(pbuh) used in his letters to the other states and tribal chiefs, these texts
in time underpinned the art of “insha”. In this respect, the caliphs
of Islam also walked in the footsteps of the Prophet (pbuh.). Depending on the
expansion of Islamic geography, these political correspondents have multiplied
and diversified. In the both of periods, this kind of correspondence is based
on “i'caz”
and easy to understand. Over time, however, longer, elaborate
expressions and phrases containing clauses were begun to be used. In this work,
after briefly mentioning about the art of insha and kitabah, which had an
exceptional place in Arabic literature and had a golden age in the Umayyad and
Abbasi Periods as well as the characteristics of the clerks, we tried to
analyze the wording features in the letters of the prophet (pbuh.).
