SPOR TESİSLERİNİN YÖNETİM KAPASİTESİNİ BELİRLEMEYE YÖNELİK BİR ÖLÇEK GELİŞTİRME ÇALIŞMASI

Öz

Bu araştırmada, Türkiye’de spor tesislerinin yönetim kapasitesini analiz eden bir ölçeğin geliştirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, İstanbul’da yerel yönetimler tarafından işletilen spor tesislerinde görev yapan spor yöneticileri arasından uygun ve erişilebilir örneklem yöntemi ile oluşturulmuştur. Bu yöntemle, araştırmaya Spor İstanbul tarafından işletilen 52 spor tesisinde görev yapan 164 spor yöneticisi katılmış olup katılımcıların %26,2’si (n:43) kadın ve %73,8`i (n=121 kişi) erkektir. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi (AFA) sonucunda ölçeğin dört boyutlu ve 35 maddeden oluştuğu tespit edilmiştir. AFA sonucunda toplam açıklanan varyansın % 72.430 olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçek için cronbach alfa iç tutarlık katsayı 0,976 ve KMO değerinin 0,947 olduğu görülmüştür. Spor Tesisi Yönetim Kapasitesi Ölçeği’nin madde toplam korelasyonlarının 0,562 ile 0,917 arasında değişiklik gösterdiği görülmüştür. Ölçeğe uygulanan Doğrulayıcı Faktör Analizi (DFA) sonucunda 2/sd = 2.332, RMSEA= 0,090, GFI= 0,703, NFI= 0,804, CFI= 0,877 olduğu görülmüştür. Çalışmada elde edilen sonuçlar, Spor Tesisi Yönetim Kapasitesi Ölçeği’nin spor tesislerinin yönetim kapasitesini tespit etmede kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğunu göstermiştir.

A SCALE DEVELOPMENT STUDY TO DETERMINE THE MANAGEMENT CAPACITY OF SPORTS FACILITIES

Öz

This study aimed to develop a scale that analyses the management capacity of sports facilities in Turkey. The sample of the research was created with a convenient and accessible sampling method among sports managers working in sports facilities operated by local governments in Istanbul. 164 sport managers working in 52 sports facilities operated by Spor Istanbul participated in the study and 26.2% (n=43) of the participants were female, while 73.8% (n=121) were male. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA), it was determined that the scale consists of four dimensions and 35 items. As a result of EFA, the total explained variance was found to be 72.430%. The Cronbach's alpha internal consistency coefficient for the scale was .976, and the KMO value was 0.947. Item total correlations of the Sports Facility Management Capacity Scale (SFMCS) ranged from .562 to .917. Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) applied to the scale showed that 2/sd= 2.332, RMSEA= 0.090, GFI= 0.703, NFI= 0.804, CFI= 0.877. The results obtained in the study showed that Sports Facilities Management Capacity Scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool that can be used to determine the management capacity of sports facilities.
