1950’den Günümüze Dünyada İç Göç Hareketleri ve Kentleşme

Öz

Göç, tarih boyunca Dünya’nın birçok yerinde yaşamın ayrılmaz bir parçası haline gelmiştir. Göç, temel olarak dış göç ve iç göç olarak iki şekilde çalışmalara konu edilmektedir. Literatürün büyük bir çoğunluğunda dış göç konusu incelenmiştir. Çalışmamızda ise, 1950’den günümüze Dünya’da iç göç konusundaki literatür incelemesi ve değerlendirilmesi yapılmıştır. Güney Doğu ve Doğu Asya, Sahra Altı Afrika, Kuzey Afrika ve Ortadoğu, Latin Amerika, Kuzey Amerika ve Avrupa’da iç göç konusunda yapılan çalışmalar, “göç yasaları” ve “iç göç tipleri” üzerinden incelenerek değerlendirilmiştir. Bu bölgelerde yaşanan kırdan kente iç göç dinamiğinin yönü ve yoğunluğu literatür üzerinden değerlendirilerek, iç göçün kentleşmeye olan etkileri ortaya konulmuştur.

Internal Migration Movements and Urbanization in the World Since 1950

Öz

The migration, has become an integral part of life in many parts of the World throughout history. Migration is mainly studied in two ways namely external migration and internal migration. In the vast majority of the literatüre, the topic of external migration has been studied. In this study, the literature on internal migration in the world from 1950 to the present has been reviewed and evaluated. In the study, studies on internal migration in South East and East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa and the Middle East, Latin America, North America and Europe; it has been evaluated by examining “migration laws” and “internal migration types”. The direction and intensity of internal migration dynamics from rural to urban in these regions were evaluated through the literature, and the effects of internal migration on urbanization were revealed.
