Electrocatalytic oxidation of formic acid using Pt nanocatalyst supported on PVF-PANI composite

Öz

Facile synthesis of Pt@PVF-PANI catalyst for electrooxidation of formic acid was described. Influence of experimental conditions on the performance of the catalyst system was studied via cyclic voltammetry of formic acid solution in acidic medium. The catalyst prepared under optimum conditions was physically characterized using Scanning Electron Microscopy and elemental mapping. Electrochemical characterization was performed by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.
