Postpartum Hemorrhage

Öz

Postpartum hemorrhage is one of the leading preventable causes of maternal mortality worldwide. Despite all the measures taken, postpartum hemorrhage will continue to cause morbidity and losses as women give birth. It is important that patients who are at risk during pregnancy are identified, the necessary preparations are made on time and they are referred to advanced centers if necessary. Preparing international or local protocol schemes and managing patients according to the protocols provide a significant reduction in morbidity and mortality that may develop. Information about postpartum hemorrhage has been reviewed in the light of current literature.

Postpartum Kanama

Öz

Postpartum kanama, dünya çapında anne ölümlerinin önde gelen önlenebilir sebepleri içinde yer almaktadır. Alınan tüm tedbirlere rağmen, kadınlar doğum yaptıkça kayıplara ve morbiditeye sebebiyet vermeye devam edecektir. Gebelik esnasında risk taşıyan hastaların belirlenip, zamanında gerekli hazırlıkların yapılması, gereğinde ileri merkezlere yönlendirilmeleri önem arz etmektedir. Uluslararası ya da yerel protokol şemaları hazırlayıp, hastaları protokole göre yönetmek gelişebilecek morbidite ve mortalitede önemli oranda azalma sağlamaktadır. Postpartum kanama ile bilgiler güncel literatür ışığında derlenmiştir.
