Yetişkinlerde Şekerli İçecek Tüketimi Ve Algılanan Gıda Okuryazarlığının Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Bu çalışmada, herhangi bir nedenle bir üniversite hastanesi polikliniğine başvuran 18 yaş ve üzeri bireylerin şekerli içecek tüketim alışkanlıklarının değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Ayrıca, şekerli içecek etiketlerine yönelik tutumları ve algılanan gıda okuryazarlıkları incelenmiştir. Veri toplamak için ilgili literatüre dayalı olarak geliştirilen bir anket formu kullanılmıştır. Algılanan gıda okuryazarlığı düzeylerinin 30 yaş ve üzeri bireylerde, kadınlarda, evli katılımcılarda ve düzenli egzersiz yapanlarda daha yüksek olduğu bulunmuştur. Ayrıca, meyve suyu ve gazlı içeceklerdeki piktogram tabanlı etiketlerin, infografik veya metin tabanlı etiketlere kıyasla şekerli içecek tüketimini caydırmada daha etkili olduğu bulunmuştur.

Evaluation of Sugar-Beverage Consumption and Perceived Food Literacy in Adults

Öz

This study aimed to evaluate the sugary drink consumption patterns of individuals aged 18 and above who visited a university hospital polyclinic for any reason.It also examined their attitudes toward sugary drink labels and their perceived food literacy.A survey form, developed based on relevant literature, was used to collect data.Perceived food literacy levels were found to be higher among individuals aged 30 and above, women, married participants, those who engaged in regular exercise. Additionally, pictogram-based labels on fruit juice and carbonated drinks were more effective in deterring sugary drink consumption compared to infographic or text-based labels.
