KEEPING YOUR BRAIN FIT
Abstract: The measures that need to be taken in order to promote the health of our brain -the foundation of our body organisation and social being- do not differ drastically from general healthcare practices but social aspects also need to be accounted for. Adaquate physical activity, sleep and diet provide the basic biologic medium and supply the physiological needs of the brain as an organ. But in order to provide us with a social identity and communal function brain also needs adaquate levels of social interractions and social stress levels should be kept at bay. Basic practices to promote brain health are the main topic of this article and we will try to discuss both physiological and social aspects under six main categories.
