Hemşirelikte Etik Konulu Araştırmaların Bibliyometrik Analizi: Web of Sciences Veri Tabanı Örneği

Amaç: Çalışmanın amacı, hemşirelikte etik kavramını araştıran çalışmaların taranması, bu çalışmaların bibliyometrik özelliklerini analiz ederek eğilim ve içeriklerinin belirlenmesi ve elde edilen mevcut kanıtların sunulmasıdır. Yöntem: Araştırmada tanımlayıcı ve bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi kullanıldı. Araştırma verileri 27 Mart 2024 tarihinde Web of Sciences Core Collection (WoSCC) veri tabanından “ethic” or “ethics” or “ethic dilemma” or “ethic decision” or “ethic decision making” or “ethic issues” or “ethic conflicts” or “ethic care” or “nursing ethic” anahtar kelimeleri kullanılarak elde edildi. Bulgular: Bu alanda WoSCC’de ilk makale 1977 yılında yayımlanmıştır. Yayınlanan makalelerin toplam atıf sayısının 82.919 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Konuyla ilgili en fazla yayını yapan kurumun Sao Paulo Üniversitesi (118 makale), en fazla yayını yapan ülkenin Amerika (2.111 makale), en fazla yayını yapan derginin ise Nursing Ethics (2.992 makale) olduğu saptanmıştır. Sonuç: Bu bibliyometrik analiz sonucunda, son yıllarda hemşirelikte etik konusuyla ilgili yayın sayısının arttığı, konunun daha fazla araştırıldığı ve makale sayısı ile doğru orantılı olarak atıf sayısının da artığı belirlendi. Yapılan çalışmalarda “hemşireler için etik kurallar, ahlaki sıkıntı, palyatif bakımda etik, eğitimde etik, profesyonel etik” kavramlarının yoğun şekilde çalışıldığı dikkat çekmektedir.

Objective: The aim of the study is to scan the studies investigating the concept of ethics in nursing, to determine the trends and contents of these studies by analyzing their bibliometric properties, and to present the existing evidence obtained as a result. Methods: The research was used in descriptive and bibliometric analysis. The research data were obtained from the Web of Sciences Core Collection (WoSCC) database on March 27, 2024, using the keywords "ethic" or "ethics" or "ethic dilemma" or "ethic decision" or "ethic decision making" or "ethic issues" or "ethic conflicts" or "ethic care" or "nursing ethics". Results: The first article in this field was published in WoSCC in 1977. The total number of citations of published articles was 82.919. It was found that the institution publishing the most on the subject was the University of Sao Paulo (118 articles), the country publishing the most was the USA (2.111 articles), and the journal publishing the most was Nursing Ethics (2.992 articles). Conclusion: As a result of this bibliometric analysis, it was determined that the number of publications on ethics in nursing, especially in recent years, has increased, has been researched more, and the number of citations has increased in direct proportion to the number of articles. It is noteworthy that the concepts of "ethical rules for nurses, moral distress, ethics in palliative care, ethics in education, professional ethics" have been studied intensively in the studies.
