METAVERSE'E AKADEMİK BAKIŞ: SİSTEMATİK BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Öz

Teknolojinin gelişmesiyle birlikte üç boyutlu sanal dünyalara olan yönelim artmıştır. Üç boyutlu sanal dünyalar teknolojinin en yeni çalışma alanlarından olsa da yaklaşık 30 yıldır içimizdedir. Son zamanlarda ortaya çıkan Metaverse kavramıyla üç boyutlu sanal dünyaların popülerliği bir kez daha yükselişe geçmiştir. Metaverse kavramının bilimsel dünyada ne şekilde ne kadar ve nasıl araştırıldığı bilgilerini literatüre kazandırmak ve bundan sonra bu konuda yapılacak çalışmalara yol gösterici olmak önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada konu ile ilgili şu ana kadar yapılan akademik çalışmalar; yıllara göre dağılımı, bilimsel alanları, etik ve düzenleyici konular, sosyal sorumluluk açısından incelenmiştir. Ayrıca sistematik inceleme çalışması ortaya koymak amaçlanmıştır. Toplam 100 makalenin sistematik inceleme sürecine katıldığı bu çalışmada, Metaverse temalı çalışmaların en çok 2021 yılında yapıldığı, bilgisayar bilimi, sosyal bilimler, mühendislik, sanat ve beşerî bilimler, işletme, yönetim ve muhasebe ve sağlık bilimleri alanlarında yazıldığı görülmüştür. Etik alanda yazılan makale sayısının yetersiz olduğu, konu ile ilgili sosyal sorumluluk sonuçlarının incelenmediği gözlenmiştir.
