Bibliometric Analysis of Studies on Socioeconomically Disadvantaged Gifted Students (1964-2021)

Öz

This study aims to systematically map research on gifted students with socioeconomic disadvantages between 1964-2021 using bibliometric analysis. The analysis includes the country distribution of the studies, the number of studies per year, the most frequently used keywords, authorship, journal distribution, and citation counts. Data were obtained from the Web of Science database. Of the 242 studies, 71 met the inclusion criteria and were included in the analysis. The findings indicate that the United States had the highest number of publications on socioeconomically disadvantaged gifted students, and 2018 was the year with the greatest number of publications.

Sosyoekonomik Açıdan Dezavantajlı Özel Yetenekli Öğrencilerle İlgili Yapılan Çalışmaların Bibliyometrik Analizi (1964-2021)

Öz

Bu araştırmanın amacı 1964-2021 yılları arasında sosyoekonomik dezavantaja sahip özel yetenekli öğrencilerle ilgili çalışmaların bibliyometrik analiz ile bilimsel haritalanmasıdır. Araştırmada çalışmaların ülke dağılımları, yıllara göre çalışma sayıları, çalışmalarda kullanılan ortak kelimeler, çalışmaların yazarları, çalışmaların yayınlandığı dergi dağılımları, atıf sayıları analiz edilmiştir. Veriler Web of Science veri tabanından elde edilmiştir. Ulaşılan toplam 242 çalışmadan 71 tanesi araştırma kapsamına uygun bulunmuş ve incelenmiştir. Analizler sonucunda sosyoekonomik açıdan dezavantajlı özel yetenekli öğrencilerle ilgili en çok yayın yapılan ülkenin Amerika olduğu ve en çok yayın yapılan yılın 2018 olduğu görülmüştür. Konuyla ilgili yapılan çalışmalarda ön plana çıkan yazarlar; “Hamilton, R”, “Anderson”, “Scott, MS”, “Kolobinava, T” dir.
