Bolman and Deal’s Four Frame Theory: Manager’s Leadership Style and Organizational Culture
Abstract
The
purpose of this research is to investigate the relationship between four
leadership frames and organizational culture. The sample of this research which
used survey model and quantitative techniques composed of 618 teachers working
for central Denizli primary schools and
these subjects were selected by proportional cluster
sampling. The
data of this research was collected by administaring two instruments:
“Leadership Orientation Questionnaire (LOQ)” developed by Bolman and Deal
(1991) and “Organizational Culture Questionnaire” developed by Terzi (2005).
The data collected was analized by employing several statistical techniques
including mean, Sperman’s rho correlation tests and standart deviation. After analyzing the data collected, the
following findings have been reached: A statistically significant relation has
been found between the dimensions of LOQ (Leadership Orientation Questionnaire)
and organizational culture.
