In today's world of intense competition, businesses pay more and more attention to new product development efforts. There are still few studies examining the effect of supply chain integration on new product development. Therefore, the study examines the relationship between supply chain integration and new product development. In the study, supply chain integration is examined under two headings as external and internal integration. External integration is divided into two sub-categories as supplier and customer integration. The mediating effect of internal integration on the effect of individual supplier integration and customer integration on new product development was examined within the scope of the study. Data were collected through questionnaires applied to 390 medium and large-scale enterprises operating in the manufacturing sector in Ankara and Istanbul provinces. Reliability, validity and hypothesis tests were applied to the obtained data. According to the findings of the study, the partial mediating effect of internal integration on the effect of both supplier and customer integration on new product development was determined.
