Öz

Status epileptikus sebep olduğu yüksek oranda morbidite ve mortalite nedeniyle çocuk ve nörolojik acillerden birisidir. Epilepside olduğu gibi statusun nedenleri de değişkenlik gösterir. Akut beyin zedelenmesi sonrası gelişebileceği gibi epilepsinin bir bulgusu şeklinde de karşımıza çıkabilir.
