Kuantum Finans Alanında Ortaya Çıkan Eğilimler: Web of Science Verilerini Kullanarak Bibliyometrik Bir Araştırma

Öz

Kuantum hesaplama, kuantum bilgi teorisi ve bu teknolojilerin finansal modelleme, portföy optimizasyonu, risk analizi gibi alanlardaki uygulamaları giderek daha fazla araştırmanın konusu haline gelmiştir. Bu çalışma, finans alanında kuantum teknolojilerinin giderek artan etkisini ortaya koymayı amaçlayan bibliyometrik bir analizdir. Analiz, 2002–2025 yılları arasında Web of Science (WoS) veri tabanında “quantum” ve “finance” anahtar kelimeleriyle yayımlanan bilimsel çalışmaları kapsamaktadır. Çalışmada Bibliometrix ve Biblioshiny kütüphaneleri kullanılarak çeşitli bibliyometrik analiz yöntemleri uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre, öncelikle bu alanda sadece 62 çalışmaya rastlanmıştır. Ayrıca bulgular kuantum finans literatürünün son üç yılda belirgin bir artış gösterdiğini ve disiplinler arası bir nitelik kazandığını göstermektedir. Çin, ABD ve Singapur’un bu alanda en çok katkı sağlayan ülkeler olduğu; “kuantum hesaplama”, “model”, “optimizasyon”, “ekonofizik”, “simülasyon”, “algoritmalar”, “opsiyonlar” gibi anahtar kavramların öne çıktığı görülmüştür. Bu çalışma, kuantum teknolojilerinin finansal araştırmalardaki yerini daha iyi anlamak isteyen araştırmacılar ve politika yapıcılar için önemli bir referans kaynağı niteliğindedir. Aynı zamanda, kuantum-finans etkileşimlerinin gelecekteki yönelimleri hakkında ipuçları sunarak, bu alanda yapılacak yeni çalışmalar için stratejik bir çerçeve önermektedir.

Emerging Trends in Quantum Finance: A Bibliometric Exploration Using Web of Science Data

Öz

Quantum computation, quantum information theory, and their applications in areas such as financial modeling, portfolio optimization, and risk analysis have increasingly attracted scholarly attention. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis to examine the growing impact of quantum technologies in finance. The analysis covers scientific publications indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database that include the keywords “quantum” and “finance” and were published between 2002 and 2025. Various bibliometric techniques were employed using the Bibliometrix and Biblioshiny packages. The results reveal that only 62 studies have been published in this field to date; however, the literature has expanded significantly over the past three years and has developed a strong interdisciplinary character. China, the United States, and Singapore emerge as the leading contributors, while prominent research themes include “quantum computation,” “model,” “optimization,” “econophysics,” “simulation,” “algorithms,” and “options.” Overall, this study provides a valuable reference for researchers and policymakers seeking to understand the role of quantum technologies in financial research. It also offers insights into future research directions and proposes a strategic framework for advancing studies at the intersection of quantum technologies and finance.
