The Mediterranean Fruit Fly (Ceratitis capitata (Wiedemann)) is an important external quarantine pest in many fruit species, especially in citrus fruits. This study was conducted between 2016-2019 in order to determine the population changes of this pest in Çanakkale conditions. In the study, Mediterranean fruit fly population was examined in 2016 (July-December), 2017 (September-November), 2018 (July-November) and 2019 (August-December) by placing delta type traps containing Trimedlure in mandarin orchards. As a result of the study, the Mediterranean fruit fly population was detected at the most in 2016 (790 adults per trap) and 2018 (692 adults per trap), respectively, while at least in 2017 (7 adults) and 2019 (79 adults).
