Stages the interpreter experience in interpreting process and the competences activated

Öz

In this study, the plane in which the interpreter proceeds as cognitive, affective and psychomotor during interpreting performance; will be studied in relation to the abilities expected to be provided by interpreter in terms of interpreting process, in which the principle of instantaneousness is in the forefront and compelling for the interpreter's cognitive competences. Furthermore, new skills that are specific to some of the stages in which the interpreter proceeds during interpreting will also be proposed. The study will be conveyed through two main titles and three subtitles for each. The first main title called the competencies in the process of perception in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting will be introduced with the subtitles of the hearing and understanding of the source text, memorization of perceived sections and note taking in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. The second main title called the competences in the production process in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting will be introduced with subtitles of transferring the meaning of the source text, editing of target text, uttering of the target text in simultaneous and consecutive interpreting. According to the data obtained through this study, on the unexplored points regarding the issue of interpreting, the neccessity of applying stimulating, more detailed, experimental , quasi-experimental, descriptive case studies in the types of the data and circumstances on psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics, neurolinguistics and specific to the memory of the interpreter comes to the fore in future research. It will be possible to add more competences and enlight the unxplored points of interpreter's blackbox.

Tercümanın tercüme sürecinde deneyimlediği aşamalar ve bu aşamalar esnasında devreye soktuğu yetiler

Öz

Bu çalışmada çevirmenin bilişsel yetkinliğini zorlayıcı ve anındalık ilkesinin çok ön planda olduğu bir süreç olan andaş ve ardıl tercüme bakımından sözlü çevirmenin tercüme esnasında bilişsel, duyuşsal ve psikomotor olarak ilerlediği düzlem ve bu düzlem ile paralelinde tercümanlarda bulunması beklenen yetiler ilişkilendirilerek aktarılacaktır. Ayrıca çevirmenin tercüme esnasında yol aldığı bazı aşamalara özgü yeni yetiler de önerilecektir. Çalışma iki ana başlık ve üçer tane alt başlık aracılığı ile aktarılacaktır. İlk temel başlık; andaş ve ardıl tercümede algılama sürecindeki yetiler ve alt başlıkları olan; andaş ve ardıl tercümede kaynak metnin duyulması ve anlaşılması, andaş ve ardıl tercümede algılanan bölümlerin hatırda tutulması ve andaş ve ardıl tercümede not alma ile tanıtılacaktır. İkinci ana başlık ise andaş ve ardıl tercümede üretme sürecindeki yetiler ve alt başlıkları olan andaş ve ardıl tercümede kaynak metnin anlamının aktarılması, andaş ve ardıl tercümede erek metnin düzenlenmesi ve andaş ve ardıl tercümede erek metnin söylenmesidir. Bu çalışma vasıtasıyla edinilen verilere göre; ileriki araştırmalarda psikodilbilimsel, sosyodilbilimsel, sinirdilbilimsel ve çevirmeninin belleğine özel yeti ve durum türlerinde keşfedilmemiş tercümebilimsel noktalar konusunda ufuk açıcı, daha detaylı, deneysel, yarı-deneysel ve betimleyici vaka incelemelerine başvurulması gerekliliği gündeme gelmektedir. Önerilen yetilere daha fazlasını eklemek, çevirmenin kara kutusunun keşfedilmemiş noktalarına ışık tutan bu araştırmalarla mümkün olacaktır.
