Hasta güvenliği kültürü kavramının boyutları ile incelenmesi boyutların hasta güvenliği uygulamalarına etkisinin araştırılması

Öz

Giriş ve Amaç: Hasta güvenliğinin sağlanabilmesi için hasta güvenliği kültürünün geliştirilmesi gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede, hasta güvenliği kültürü kavramının daha iyi anlaşılabilmesi için boyutları ile ayrıntılı olarak incelenmesi ve boyutların hasta güvenliği uygulamalarına etkisinin araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Bu derlemede, hasta güvenliği kültürü boyutları; Hastane birimleri içinde takım çalışması, Hasta güvenliği ile ilgili yönetici beklentileri ve eylemleri, Hastane birimleri arasında takım çalışması ve yönetimin desteği, Örgütsel öğrenme, Genel güvenlik algısı, Hatalar hakkında açık iletişim ve geribildirim, Raporlanan olayların sıklığı, Personel sağlama, Hasta teslimleri, Hatalara karşı cezalandırıcı olmayan yaklaşım olmak üzere on başlıkta incelenmiştir. Ayrıca bu boyutlar ile ilgili ayrıntılı hemşirelik literatür incelemesi yapılarak boyutların hasta güvenliğine etkisi ayrıntılı olarak ele alınmıştır. Sonuç: Hasta güvenliği uygulamalarının daha başarılı olabilmesi için hasta güvenliği kültürü kavramının çok iyi anlaşılması gerekmektedir. Bunun için hasta güvenliği kültürü boyutlarıyla ele alınmalı ve analiz edilmelidir. Bu çalışma, sağlık kurumlarında özellikle hemşirelerde hasta güvenliği kültürünün geliştirilebilmesi için hemşire ve yöneticilere ayrıntılı bilgi sunacaktır.

Investigation of patient safety culture concept by dimensions and investigation of the effect of dimensions on patient safety practices.

Öz

Introduction and Objective: To provide safe and high quality patient care, patient safety culture must be improved in the health sector. In this review, in order to better understand the concept of patient safety culture, it is aimed to examine the dimensions in detail and to investigate the effect of dimensions on patient safety practices.Material and Method: In the review, patient safety culture dimensions; It has been examined under ten titles Teamwork within units, Management expectations, Teamwork across units and management support, Organizational learning, Overall perceptions of safety, Feedback and communication openness about error, Frequency of events reported, Staffing, Handoffs and transitions, Nonpunitive response to errors. In addition, detailed nursing literature review of these dimensions was done and the effect of dimensions on patient safety was discussed in detail. Conclusion: In order for patient safety practices to be more successful, the concept of patient safety culture must be understood very well. For this, patient safety culture should be handled and analyzed. This review will provide detailed information to nurses and managers to improve patient safety culture in healthcare institutions.
