Introduction-Aim: After cancer treatment, a significant number of individuals have to return to work life. While returning to work means returning to normal life and making a new start for some individuals, it is a necessity for others due to financial difficulties. Today, studies in this area are very limited. Due to the increase in cancer survival, these individuals will constitute an important part of the working population and the needs of those who are in business life after cancer treatment will be more prominent in the coming years. The aim of this study is to draw attention to the problems of individuals in the post-cancer treatment period, to raise awareness and to take necessary precautions.
Materials and Methods: Many effects of cancer and its treatment can be seen in the late period. These effects may vary from person to person, depending on the type of cancer or the treatment received. Individuals working after cancer in business life have to cope with these effects. Although there are studies on the subject in developed countries, there are very few studies examining the problems of workers in developing countries.
Conclusion: These individuals need support and advice so that they can start a healthy working life after treatment and adapt to working life. This support should be provided by both oncology team members and their employers, and post-cancer treatment work should be given priority. This study will be a guide for other studies to be done in our country.
