Physical and Psychological Well-Being of Nursing Students in the COVID-19 Pandemic Evaluation of Being Situations

Öz

Introduction and Objective: The study was conduct to determine the stress, anxiety, depression, life satisfaction, psychological well-being and physical activity levels of COVID-19 nursing students during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Method: The cross-sectional and descriptive study was conducted with 314 nursing students in the 2020-2021 academic year of a university in Turkey. Data were collected by online method.
Results: In the study; There was a weak negative correlation between religious belief and stress, PCL-C, anxiety and depression, and a weak positive correlation between life satisfaction. It can be say that spirituality and spirituality affect PCL-C, anxiety and depression negatively, and life satisfaction positively. No correlation was found between physical activity and variables. predictors that negatively affect psychological well-being; It has been determined that there are female students who have low religious belief perception and fear of not being able to graduate due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Conclusion: Although the pandemic had negative effects on the psychological well-being and physical exercise levels of nursing students, religious belief played an active role on the psychological well-being of the students during the negative conditions of the pandemic.

Hemşirelik Bölümü Öğrencilerinin COVID-19 Pandemisinde Fiziksel ve Psikolojik İyi Olma Durumlarının Değerlendirilmesi

Öz

Giriş ve Amaç: Çalışma, COVID-19 panddemisinde hemşirelik bölümü öğrencilerinin stres, anksiyete, depresyon, yaşamdan memnuniyet, COVID-19’un psikolojik iyilik hali ve fiziksel aktivite düzeylerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.
Yöntem: Kesitsel ve tanımlayıcı tipteki araştırma, Türkiye’de bir üniversitenin 2020-2021 eğitim-öğretim dönemine 314 hemşirelik öğrencisi ile gerçekleştirilmiştir. Veriler çevrimiçi yöntemle toplanmıştır.
Bulgular: Çalışmada; dini inanç ile stres, PCL-C, anksiyete ve depresyon arasında negatif zayıf, yaşam doyumu arasında ise pozitif zayıf korelasyon belirlenmiştir. Maneviyat ve spritiületnin PCL-C, anksiyete ve depresyonu olumsuz yaşam doyumunu ise olumlu yönde etkiledikleri söylenebilir. Fiziksel aktivite ve değişkenler arasında ise herhangi bir korelasyon belirlenmemiştir. psikolojik iyilik halini olumsuz etkileyen yordayıcıların; düşük dini inanç algısı ve COVID-19 pandemisi nedeni ile mezun olamama endişesi taşıyan kız öğrenciler olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Sonuç: Pandemi hemşirelik öğrencilerinin psikolojik iyi olma hali ile fiziksel egzersiz düzeyleri üzerine olumsuz etkilere sahip olmasına karşın dini inanç pandeminin olumsuz koşullarında öğrencilerin psikolojik iyi olma hali üzerinde etkin rol oynamıştır.
