Kadın Sporcuya Özgü Yaralanmadan Korunma Stratejileri

Öz

Kadın sporcuların spora katılımının artması, kadın sporculara özgü yaralanma spektrumunu daha iyi anlamamıza neden olmaktadır. Cinsiyete özgü morfolojik, fizyolojik, anatomik ve biyomekanik dizayn farklılıkları kadınlardaki yaralanma paternlerinin benzersizliğini açıklayabilmektedir.
Epidemiyolojik çalışmalar, kadın sporcuların erkek sporculara göre özellikle artmış alt ekstremite kas-iskelet sistemi yaralanma riski taşıdığını bildirmektedir. Kadınlarda riski artan yaralanma tiplerinin; nonkontakt ön çapraz bağ rüptürü, patellofemoral ağrı ve instabilite, alt ekstremite stres fraktürü, kadın sporcu üçlemesi, omuz instabilitesi, femoroasetabular impingement ve konküzyon olduğu belirlenmiştir.
Kadın sporculardaki yaralanma etiyolojilerinin farklılığı konusunda ilgili birimlerin farkındalığın artması ve koruyucu programların günlük pratiğe sokulması gerekmektedir. Bu derlemede, kadın sporcuya özgü yaralanmalar ve bu yaralanmalardan korunma yöntemleri sunulacaktır.

Strategies For Protection From Famele Athlete's Special Injury

Öz

Increased participation of female athletes leads to a better understanding of the injury spectrum specific to female athletes. Gender-specific morphological, physiological, anatomical and biomechanical design differences may explain the uniqueness of injury patterns in female. Epidemiological studies have reported that female athletes are at increased risk of lower extremity musculoskeletal injuries than male athletes. Increased risk of injury types in female; noncontact anterior cruciate ligament rupture, patellofemoral pain and instability, lower extremity stress fracture, female athlete triad, shoulder instability, femoroacetabular impingement and concussion.
The awareness of the relevant units about the difference in the etiology of injury in female athletes should be increased and preventive programs should be put into daily practice. In this review, injuries related to female athletes and their prevention methods will be presented.
