poetry and, he applied logical thougt on the poetry. According to Qudâma b. Ja

far, the
poetry established on the four constituent
elements: “word”, “meaning”, “metre” and
“rhyme”. He determined defects of the four
constituent elements and combinations of
this elements two by two.
