However he has other one identity as very important as theothers. He is founder modern sociology of religion in Turkey. In this article Gökalpwill be examine from this point. What are the contributions Gökalp's to the sociologyof religion tradition in Turkey? And what is he's methodology of sociology of religion?Is he ordinary a translator of Emile Durkheim?
