MOZART’IN TAMAMLAMADIĞI L’OCA DEL CAIRO VE LO SPOSO DELUSO OPERALARININ İNCELENMESİ VE 21. YÜZYILDA PASTICCIO TEKNİĞİYLE SAHNELENMESİ

Öz

Mozart’ın L’oca del Cairo ve Lo Sposo Deluso adlı operaları, tamamlanmamış olmaları nedeniyle müzik literatüründe az sayıda incelenmiş ve sahnelenen opera eserleri arasında nadiren yer alabilmiştir. Bu çalışmanın amacı, söz konusu eserlerin bestelenme sürecini ve yarım kalma nedenlerini açıklamak, bu süreçte bestecinin opera buffa stiline katkılarını ortaya koymak ve 2019 yılında sahnelenen bir pasticcio versiyonu üzerinden günümüzde nasıl yeniden sahneye taşındığını değerlendirmektir. Araştırma bu operaların 21. yüzyılda yapılan pasticcio versiyonları arasında önemli örneklerinden biri olan Macar Devlet Operası’nın Eyfel Sanat Stüdyoları temsilinin incelenmesi ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Çalışmada literatür taraması yapılarak, nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden doküman analizi tekniği kullanılmıştır. Bu kapsamda Mozart’ın mektup yazışmaları, mevcut nota envanterleri ve bu iki opera özelinde daha önceden yapılmış olan çalışmalar incelenerek eserler hakkında detaylı bilgiler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular, bu operaların Mozart’ın opera buffa anlayışını geliştirmesinde önemli bir rol oynadığını göstermiştir. Bununla birlikte, yarım kalmış opera eserlerinin sahnelenmesinde pasticcio tekniğinin, rejisörler için yaratıcı çözümler sunan etkili bir yöntem olduğu görülmüştür.

EXAMINATION OF MOZART’S UNCOMPLETED L’OCA DEL CAIRO AND LO SPOSO DELUSO OPERAS AND THEIR STAGEMENT WITH PASTICCIO TECHNIQUE IN THE 21ST CENTURY

Mozart’s operas L’oca del Cairo and Lo Sposo Deluso have been studied little in the music literature and have rarely been included among the staged operas due to their incompleteness. The aim of this study is to explain the composition process of these works and the reasons why they remained unfinished, to reveal the composer’s contributions to the opera buffa style in this process, and to evaluate how they have been brought back to the stage today through a pasticcio version staged in 2019. The research is limited to the examination of the Eiffel Art Studios performance of the Hungarian State Opera, which is one of the important examples of pasticcio versions of these operas made in the 21st century. In the study, a literature review was conducted and the document analysis technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used. In this context, detailed information about the works was collected by examining Mozart’s letter correspondence, existing score inventories and previous studies on these two operas. The findings obtained showed that these operas played an important role in Mozart’s development of the opera buffa concept. In addition, it was seen that the pasticcio technique was an effective method that provided creative solutions for directors in the staging of unfinished opera works.
