THE NEW TREND IN SERVICES MARKETING OF PRIVATE HOSPITALS: BIRTH PACKAGES

Öz

This study aims to examine the birth package services offered in private hospitals in Ankara and which are increasingly demanded through web sites belonging to the related hospitals and to evaluate their contents in this study. The population of the study comprises 36 private hospitals operating in Ankara. It has been identified in the study that contact information of hospitals, information of physicians and current announcements are given in all of hospital web sites, just one hospital web site has the price learning menu and information of birth packages is located in only 4 hospital web sites. By demonstrating that the promotion of hospital maternity services is insufficient, this study reveals the need public relations, marketing and social media experts to act together.

ÖZEL HASTANELERİN HİZMET PAZARLAMASINDA YENİ TREND: DOĞUM PAKETLERİ

Öz

Bu çalışmada, Ankara ilinde yer alan özel hastanelerde sunulan ve giderek artan oranlarda talep gören doğum paketi hizmetlerinin ilgili hastanelere ait web siteleri aracılığıyla incelenmesi ve içeriklerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırmanın evrenini, Ankara’da faaliyet gösteren 36 özel hastane oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada, hastanelerin tamamında web sitelerinin iletişim ve hekim bilgilerine, güncel duyurulara yer verildiği; sadece bir hastanenin web sitesinde fiyat sor menüsünün bulunduğu ve doğum paketlerine yönelik bilginin ise sadece 4 hastanenin web sitesinde yer aldığı tespit edilmiştir. Bu çalışma, hastanelerin doğum hizmetlerine yönelik tanıtımının yetersiz olduğunu göstererek, halkla ilişkiler, pazarlama ve sosyal medya uzmanları ile daha fazla birlikte hareket edilmesi gerektiğini ortaya koymaktadır.
