İatrojenik Furkasyon Defekti Gelişmiş Mandibular Moların Hemiseksiyon Tekniği ile Tedavisi: Bir Olgu Sunumu

Öz

Hemiseksiyon, mandibular molarlar için gerçekleştirilen prognozu olumsuz olan kökün ekstraksiyonunu içeren cerrahi bir tekniktir. Cerrahi sonrası, enfeksiyon odağı ortadan kaldırılır, oral hijyeni sağlamak kolaylaşır. Bu vaka raporu, endodontik tedavide meydana gelen servikal perforasyon sonucu oluşan furkasyon defektinin yarı-konservatif bir teknik olan hemiseksiyonla tedavisini ve kalan kökün protetik olarak restorasyonundan bahsetmektedir.

Treatment of Mandibular Molar With Iatrogenic Furcation Defect Using Hemisection: A Case Report

Öz

Hemisection is a surgical technique performed on mandibular molars that involves extraction of the root with a poor prognosis. The main purposes of this technique are eliminating the source of infection and facilitating oral hygiene. This case report discourses on the semi-conservative treatment of the furcation defect resulting from cervical perforation during endodontic treatment with hemisection and the prosthetic restoration of the remaining root.
