Türkiye’nin 1990-2013 Dönemi İçin Endüstri İçi Ticaretinin Endeks Yöntemine Dayalı Analizi

Öz

The discovery of intra-industry trade (IIT) in the post-second World War period has been taken as an indication of a major change in the international trade. The main aim of this study is to analyze the structure of Turkey’s foreign trade on the axis of IIT theory which increasing its importance permanently. In this context, Turkey’s IIT levels have been calculated by using 3 digit level of SITC data and Grubel-Lloyd index during the period of 1990-2013. As a result of this measurement, which made with Grubel-Lloyd Index (weighted average), value of intra-industry trade in Turkey's manufacturing industry has been observed an increasing trend for 23 years. However, it is observed that intra-industry trade value is high in low or medium-tech goods, when analyzed separately for each manufacturing industry group

Öz

II. Dünya savaşı sonrası endüstri içi ticaretin (EİT) varlığının tespiti uluslar arası ticarette temel bir değişimin göstergesi olarak ele alınmaktadır. Bu çalışmanın temel amacı gittikçe önemi artan endüstri-içi ticaret teorisi ekseninde Türkiye’nin dış ticaret yapısını kapsamlı bir biçimde analiz etmek olarak belirlenmektedir. Bu bağlamda, Türkiye’nin EİT seviyeleri, 1990-2013 yılları boyunca, SITC 3 basamaklı veriler ve Grubel-Lloyd endeksi kullanılarak hesaplanmaktadır. Grubel-Lloyd Endeksi (ağırlıklandırılmış ortalama)ile yapılan ölçümler sonucunda, Türkiye’nin imalat sanayi endüstri içi ticaret değerlerinin 23 yıl içerisinde yükselen bir seyir izlediği gözlenmektedir. Ancak her bir endüstri grubu için ayrı ayrı yapılan incelemeler sonucunda endüstri içi ticaret değerlerinin genellikle düşük ya da orta teknolojili mallarda yüksek değerler taşıdığı gözlenmektedir
