Eğitimde Değişim Sürecinde Sürdürülebilir Liderlik

Öz

Dünyada küreselleşme, küresel ısınma, bilgi toplumu gibi olay veya olgular vasıtasıyla gerçekleşen hızlı değişim ve dönüşüm, örgütler açısından liderlerin sosyal, finansal ve çevresel birtakım zorluklarla baş etmek zorunda kalmalarına neden olmaktadır. Bu zorluklar karşısında geliştirilen uygulamalar açısından önemli hususlardan biri de söz konusu uygulamaların sürdürülebilirliğini sağlamaktır. Sürdürülebilirliğin merkezinde ise değişim konusunun yer aldığını söyleyebiliriz. Bu bakımdan Türkiye’de konunun bu yönüyle ele alınması noktasında bir boşluk hissedilmiştir. Ortaya atılan yeni yaklaşım ve uygulamaların sürdürülebilir hale getirilmesi, eğitim sisteminin ve okulların uzun dönem hedeflerine ulaşabilmesi açısından kilit noktada yer almaktadır. Eğitimde değişimin sürdürülebilirliğine öncülük edecek kişi ise liderlerdir. Bu bakımdan literatürde sürdürülebilirlik, eğitim liderleri açısından da değerlendirilmektedir. Niteliği itibariyle sürdürebilir liderlik, diğer liderlik boyutlarını tamamlayan bir liderlik türü olarak düşünülebilir.

Sustainable Leadership in the Process of Educational Change

Öz

Rapid change and transformation in the world through events or phenomena such as globalization, global warming, and the information society cause leaders to have to cope with a number of social, financial and environmental challenges for organizations. One of the important issues in terms of the practices developed in the face of these challenges is to ensure the sustainability of these practices. We can say that change is at the center of sustainability. In this respect, a gap has been felt in the literature in terms of addressing this aspect of the issue. Making new approaches and practices sustainable is a key point for the education system and schools to achieve their long-term goals. Leaders are the ones who will pioneer the sustainability of change in education. In this respect, sustainability is also evaluated in terms of educational leaders in the literature. In terms of its nature, sustainable leadership can be considered as a type of leadership that complements other leadership dimensions.
