A Research on The Hybrid Vigor in Triticale

Öz

This research was carried out to determine hybrid vigor for some agronomical traits in Triticale in Uludag Uni-versity Agriculture Faculty,Application and Research Center experimental fields. Heterosis and Heterobeltiosis values were used for determining hybrid vigor. As a result of this research, means of heterosis values were taken up for all hybrids, an increase was observed only in spike length and negative results were obtained from the other traits according to midparent and superiority parent. The highest negative value was obtained from 1 x 3 combination with – 69 % for seed weight /spikelet and the highest positive value was obtained from 6 x 4 combination with 121.5 % for the same trait.

Triticale’de Melez Gücü Üzerine Bir Araştırma

Öz

Uludağ Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Araştırma ve Uygulama Merkezi deneme alanında yürütülen bu çalışmada Triticale’de bazı agronomik özellikler yönünden melez gücü araştırılmıştır. Melez gücünün belirlenmesinde Heterosis ve Heterobeltiosis değerleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, tüm melezlerin ortalama heterosis değerleri birlikte ele alındığında sadece başak boyunda bir artış gözlenmiş, diğer özellikler bakımından anaç ortalamalarına ve üstün anaca göre negatif yönde sonuçlar elde edilmiştir. En yüksek negatif değer % - 69 ile 1x3 kombinasyonunda başakta tane ağırlığı özelliğinde saptanırken, en yüksek pozitif melez gücü değeri de aynı özellik yönünden % 121.5 ile 6x4 kombinasyonundan elde edilmiştir.
