Determination of Evapotranspiration and Crop Coefficient for Grass Under Different Irrigation Application in Konya Centrum
Öz
The primary goal of the present study was to determine daily and seasonal evapotranspiration of grass plant which con-stitutes most of the green fields were measured with both field trials under full and limited irrigation conditions and methods based on meteorological data in irrigated green fields of Konya city centrum. Grass crop Coefficients, under full and limited irrigation (60%, 50%, 40%, 30% of available water) conditions, were determined by using the data obtained.
According to the results, the evapotranspiration of grass plant under full and limited irrigation condition during the irri-gation period (May-October) were measured for full irrigation as 771, for limited irrigations as; 657, 563 and 459 mm, re-spectively. Daily evapotranspiration values found by field trial approximately had the same values found by Penman Monteith method (789.1) and plant coefficient (Kc) values determined by the Penman Monteith method ranged from 0.91 – 1.01.
