Determination of Yield and Yield Characteristics of Some Hybrid Sunflower Cultivars
Öz
The purpose of this study was to determine yield and yield components in Konya conditions of some hybrid sunflower cultivars (SİRENA, P64LL05, P63MM54, SANBRO, EKLLOR, C70165, TRANSOL, ALHAJA, 08TR003, ŞEMS, PR64G46, TUNCA, LG 5580, BOSFORA ve LG 5400). Fifteen different registered and permitted cultivars were used as material in the study. The field experiments were conducted at the randomized complete blocks design with three locations and four replications. In the study, some of the characteristics related to yield such as plant height, head diameter, weight of the 1000 seeds, hectoliter weight and seed yield were investigated. The highest yield, were determined 4163.0 kgha ̄ ˡ (TRANSOL) in Altınekin-Konya location, 4595.0 kgha ̄ ˡ (TRANSOL) in Çumra-Konya location and 4702.0 kgha ̄ ˡ (LG 5580) in Obruk-Konya location. The average of 3 locations was determined 4281.0 kgha ̄ ˡ (TRANSOL).
