The Effect of Different Fertilizers Combinations Yield and Yield Components in Fresh Bean (Phaseolus Vulgaris L.) Varieties

This study was conducted to determine the effect of three different nitrogen-phosphorus combinations (N0P12, N5P0 ve N5P12) and control (N0P0) on the fresh pod yield, the plant height, the pod length, the pod width and seeds per pod of these yield components of two different dwarf fresh bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L) varieties under Çayırova ecological conditions in Gebze area of Kocaeli Province. According to the evaluated data, differences were obtained between fertilizer combinations with II. Harvest fresh pod yield, total fresh pod yield, plant lenght and pod width statistically. According to the results; the maximum total fresh pod yield was obtained from N0P5 fertilizer with average 749.1 kg/da while the minimum was obtained from control plots with 610.75 kg/da. According to the varieties, the maximum fresh pod yield was obtained from Nassau with 812.7 kg/da from N5P0 plots while the minimum was obtained from Roma-II variety with 543.8 kg/da from control (N0P0) plots. Differences of varieties were statistically found to be effective on I. and III. harvest for fresh pod yield, plant height, pod length and pod width. The green pod yield of I. harvest of Nassau was superior to the other variety with 478.6 kg/da, the green pod yield of III. harvest of Roma-II was superior to the other variety with 138.4 kg/da, plant height of Roma-II was superior to Nassau with 41.15 cm, pod length of Nassau was superior to the other variety with 13.57 cm, pod width of Roma-II was superior to the other variety with 1. 47 cm.
