Turkey's Exports of Agricultural Products Export Function and Effects of Exchange Rate Uncertainty

Turkey's total exports in 2009, the export of agricultural products 10.70% percent and 10 937 million dollars. Influence factors, which is the export of agricultural products has similar properties created export of industrial products, also contribute to the agriculture industry as an export model. In this study, especially the exports important impact of fluctuations in exchange rates was examined. Johansen co-integration method to the model, the real foreign income, relative prices and real exchange rate fluctuations negatively affected exports of basic agricultural products is discovered. Impulse Responses analysis of the impact on the result of exchange rate fluctuations; exporters of agricultural products in Turkey have a structure, proved to be afraid of risk. Depending on the outcome of the real exchange rate in the export of agricultural products can be used as an effective political tool and used.

Türkiye’nin Tarım Ürünleri İhracat Fonksiyonu ve Döviz Kuru Belirsizliğinin İhracatta Olan Etkileri

Türkiye’nin 2009 yılı tarım ürünleri ihracatı genel ihracatın % 10.70’si kadar olup, 10.937 milyon dolar olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Tarım ürünleri ihracatını etkileyen faktörler sanayi ürünleri ihracatını etkileyen faktörlerle benzer özellikleri taşıması nedeniyle tarım ürünlerine yönelik bir ihracat modeli oluşturulmuştur. Özellikle döviz kurunda gerçekleşen dalgalanmaların ihracata etkisi bu çalışmada incelenmiştir. Johansen eşbütünleşme yöntemine dayalı gerçekleştirilen modelde, reel dış gelir, göreli fiyatlar ve reel döviz kuru dalgalanmasının negatif yönlü olarak tarım ürünleri ihracatını etkilediği sonucuna varılmıştır. Döviz kuru dalgalanması üzerine yapılan etki tepki analizi sonucu; Türkiye’deki tarım ürünleri ihracatçısının riskten çekinen bir yapıya sahip olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Bu sonuca bağlı olarak Tarım ürünleri ihracatında reel döviz kuru etkili bir politik enstrüman olarak kullanılabileceği sonucuna varılmıştır
