The Determination Some Biologic Properties of Amasya Apple and Nut

The mechanics of agricultural materials, as a discipline of agriculture engineering is still developed at present. The methods developed so far can already be utilized successfully for designing, optimizing and technological process. In this research as a material, Amasya apples which is grown in Konya ecologic conditions and nut is selected. As a method Biological Material Test Device is used. Biological Material Test Device for this research is developped by Dr. Hüseyin ÖĞÜT and Cevat AYDIN. In this study result, Young module and Poission's ratio of Amasya apples and skin cracking resistance of nut is determinated. Firstly, Poission's ratio (3) for Young module calculations is defined. And than Young module (E) have been calculated. This value deſines resistance of bruise of Amasya apple. From this study for apple Poisson's ratio are mean = 0.39 and modul of Elesticity (E) from 0.70 to 3.13 Nmm-2 for Amasya apple found. Skin cracking resistance for nut was changed from 108.7 to 183.4 N.
