Determination of Maize Cultivars (Zea mays indentata) for Silage in Highlands of Isparta Province
Öz
This experiment was carried out to determine the best hybrid cultivar in 16 hybrid maize cultivars having early, medium and late vegetation period according to green matter yield and some morphological characters in 1996 and 1997 vegetation periods in irrigated high lands of Isparta province that is in southern Anatolia. From the point of the view of green matter yield and other investigated characters, P.3167 and C.955 were found to be the most suitable maize cultivars in irrigational highlands of Isparta Province.
