Effects of Different Zinc Sources on Yield and Yield Characteristics of Wheat

Öz

This study aimed to investigate the effect of different zinc resources on varieties of Kızıltan and Dağdaş wheats for 2 years in during periods 1998-2000 for Konya province. The study was arranged to randimized black experimental design as factorial 3 doses (0- 0.75-1.50 kg/da) and 3 replications. Five chemical forms of zinc resources were applied to the leaves. The results abtained from Kızıltan and Dağdaş varietes showed that zinc application and zinc doses with yield. 1000 grain weight, plant height, relationships spike lenght was found different in terms of variance analysis. In general, in all zinc resources, as the zinc application dose increased, yield also rised. The highest yields according to the years in Kızıltan and Dağdaş variates were obtained as 283.7 kg da (average 209.4 kg\da in control plots) by application of zinc pruvat and 267.9 kg\da (average 246.8 kg\da in control plots) with application of zinc EDTA respectively. In second year of study, the difference of zinc researces was found significant (P<0.01) for Duncan test according to the 1000 grain weight in Kızıltan and in term of plant height in Dağdaş varieties.
