Olba Kazılarından Küçük Buluntular

Yıl 2013, Sayı: 3, 93 - 128, 01.01.2013

Öz

The small finds unearthed during the excavations carried out at Olba in Rough Cilicia reveal the lifestyle at the site throughout major historical phases. The aim of this study is to present a selected group of small finds made of glass, metal, clay, stone or bone. The devices used for illumination, personal utensils such as hair pins or buckles found at Olba are the usual instruments of a simple way of living. On the other hand, some glass fragments belonging to the highly sophisticated groups are among the excavation finds, revealing the significance of Olba in the common culture of the Mediterranean region.
