COMPARATIVE OF TURKEY'S EU MEMBERSHIP PROCESS IN TERMS OF FINANCIAL INDICATORS COMPARED TO THE OTHER NEW MEMBER STATES OF THE EU

Despite a long history, Turkey's relationships with European Union (EU), still not reached its final destination. However, it’s said that some important steps have been taken towards full membership between the parties. Developments in the literature for TurkeyEU relations are expanding parallels. Some studies evaluate economic and financial and some of them political, cultural and social dimensions of Turkey-EU relations in the developing. Hereby, the purpose of the study is to analyze the harmony of Turkey's EU membership process in terms of financial indicators compared to the other new member states of the EU. In financial indicators, As a result of the investigations, it has been found that Turkey is more compatible than other new member states of the EU regarding financial indicators of Maastricht Criteria as of 2013
