Öz

Internal hernia, is a rare cause of intestinal obstruction. Symptoms may include abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting. Since it has a high mortality rate and the diagnosis is often

missed, it is important to search for it in patients presenting with intestinal obstruction for prompt diagnosis and appropriate treatment. We present a case of pericecal internal hernia

and report the utility of computed tomography (CT) in the diagnosis.

Nadir Bir İnce Barsak Obstrüksiyon Nedeni: Paraçekal İnternal Herni

Öz

İnternal herni, nadir görülen intestinal obstrüksiyon nedenidir. Hastalarda karın ağrısı, bulantı ve kusma gibi semptomlar bulunabilir. İnternal herni tanısı sıklıkla atlanmakta olup,

yüksek mortalitesi nedeniyle intestinal obstrüksiyon bulgularıyla başvuran hastalarda internal herninin araştırılması, erken tanı ve tedavi büyük önem taşımaktadır. Biz burada

periçekal internal hernisi bulunan bir olgu sunarak, bilgisayarlı tomografinin (BT) tanıdaki rolünü değerlendirdik.
