Organizational creativity is a new and emerging research area within the field of organizational behavior (Shalley and Zhou, 2008). Research conducted in Turkey have prevailed that paternalistic leadership has important effects on employee attitudes and behavior (Paşa et.al.,2001; Pellegrini & Scandura, 2006; Erben & Güneşer, 2008). In this study, the relationship between paternalistic leadership and creative work involvement perceptions of employees is investigated. It is found that there is positive and significant relationship between benevolence and moral dimensions of paternalistic leadership and creative work involvement, whereas there is a weak negative and significant relationship between authoritarian dimension and creative work involvement
