IMPROVING THE FLAME RETARDANT PROPERTIES OF COTTON FABRICS WITH BORON COMPOUNDS
Öz
Cotton is an important raw material for the world and Turkishtextile sector. The flame-retardant properties of cotton fabrics are rather weak and need to be improved. Boron compounds are intended to be used to improve these properties of cotton fabrics. In this review, flame retardant materials containing boron compounds and their usability in textiles are investigated and summarized.
