ANKARA KIRSALINDA TARIMSAL GIDA SİSTEMİ OLARAK AGROEKOLOJİNİN SOSYOLOJİK ANALİZİ

Öz

Güvenilir ve sağlıklı gıdaya erişim sorunu gün geçtikçe küresel bağlamda büyük problemler teşkil etmeye başlamıştır. Herkesin erişebileceği sağlıklı bir gıda sistemi oluşturmak için araştırmalar devam etmektedir. Agroekolojik uygulamalar ile hem insan hem de çevre sağlığının adil bir şekilde sürdürülebileceği düşünülmektedir. Bu araştırmada, agroekolojik ilkeleri benimsediğini belirten üreticilerin üretim süreç ve teknikleri gözlemlenerek, agroekolojik gıda ve tarım sistemi sosyolojik bir perspektifle incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın saha kısmı Mart-Kasım 2021 tarihleri arasını kapsamaktadır. Bu bağlamda Ankara ilinin Güdül ilçesinde amaca uygun seçilen 14 üretici ile yarı yapılandırılmış bir soru formu kullanılarak Haziran 2021’de derinlemesine görüşmelere başlanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler, alan notları ve alanyazıyla desteklenerek yorumlanmıştır. Bu temelde katılımcıların aile çiftçiliğinin ve agroekolojik uygulamaların geleceği üzerine değerlendirmeleri yorumlanarak birkaç öneri sunulmuştur. Sonuçlar, uzun vadeli sürdürülebilir bir tarımsal gıda sistemi için sosyal, politik ve ekonomik dönüşümlerin gerçekleştirilmesi gerektiğini göstermektedir. Bu dönüşümler, aile çiftçiliğinin geleceği için de önemlidir. Tüketicilerin de agroekolojik tekniklerle üretimlerini sürdüren üreticileri desteklemeleri, agroekolojinin sürdürülebilirliği açısından önemlidir. Üretici ve tüketici bilincini arttırmak adına agroekoloji kavramının, gıda ve tarım araştırmalarında ön plana çıkarılması gerekmektedir.

SOCIOLOGICAL ANALYSIS OF AGROECOLOGY AS AGRO-FOOD SYSTEM IN ANKARA RURAL

Öz

The problem of access to safe and healthy food has started to pose a big problem in the global context day by day. Research is ongoing to implement a healthy food system that is accessible to all. It is thought that with agroecological practices, both human and environmental health can be maintained in a fair manner. In this study, the production processes and techniques of the producers, who stated that they adopted agroecological principles, were observed and the agroecological food and agriculture system was examined from a sociological perspective. The field part of the research covers the period between March and November 2021. In this context, in-depth interviews were started in June 2021 using a semi-structured questionnaire with 14 producers selected for the purpose in Güdül district of Ankara province. The data obtained were interpreted by supporting with field notes and literature. On this basis, the evaluations of the participants on the future of family farming and agroecological practices were interpreted and a few suggestions were presented. Findings show that for a long-term sustainable agro-food system social, political and economic transformations should be realized. These transformations are also important for the future of family farming. It is important for the sustainability of agroecology that consumers support producers who continue their production with agroecological techniques. In order to raise producer and consumer awareness, the concept of agroecology should be brought to the fore in food and agricultural research.
