The historical journey of poetry, which dates back to archaic times, plays a role in its transfer to contemporary periods through a strong tradition. While the features that make the poem an artistic genre are not certain due to the internal dynamics of the genre, the aesthetic dimension of the text is mostly considered with the connotation value of the language, the arts of speech and meaning, rhythm, image and meaning, or it is shown by the functioning of the structural organization that creates the poem. Although the point of view in question clarifies the boundaries of the aesthetic, it is far from fully explaining the features that should exist in the essence of great arts. In this article, which aims to create a theoretical framework for modern poetry the relationship between the language of poetry and the unconscious, the relationship between literary language and natural language, deformation, reason, irrationality, logic, construct of meaning and reality, perception of beauty, objective correlation, differentiation, image, imagination, technique, form, rhythm, naturalness / sincerity and ideology were emphasized, and the place of concepts in modern poetry and their relations with literature were opened to discussion. It has been observed that the problem areas in question are fictionalized in relation to linguistic activity in modern poetry.
