SALGIN SÜRECİNDE ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN SABIR EĞİLİMLERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Öz

Çalışmada değişik fakültelerde okuyan öğrencilerin koronavirüs sürecindeki sabır eğilimleri incelenmiştir. Araştırma evrenini Ardahan Üniversitesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler örneklemini ise araştırmaya katılan toplam 465 (kadın 218, erkek 247) öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verilerini toplamak için Doğan ve Gülmez (2017) tarafından geliştirilen “sabır ölçeği” kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi SPSS 24 programı yapılmıştır. Analiz işlemlerinde parametrik testler (t-testi, ANOVA, LSD) kullanılmıştır. Öğrencilerin cinsiyet değişkeni ile “kişiler arası ve kısa süreli sabır” alt boyutları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmamış iken, “uzun süreli sabır” alt boyut ve toplam sabır puanları arasındaki farkın anlamlı olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Yaş grupları ile sabır eğilimi puanları arasında anlamlı bir farklılık tespit edilmiştir. Kişiler arası ve uzun süreli sabır puanları en düşük 17-21 yaş grubunda ve en yüksek 27-31 yaş grubundadır. Kısa süreli sabır puanı ise en yüksek 17-21 yaş grubunda ve en düşük 27-31 yaş grubundadır. Toplam sabır puanı ise en yüksek 22-26 yaş grubunda bulunmuştur. Sonuç: Üniversite öğrencilerinin koronavirüs 19 sürecinde sabır eğilimleri cinsiyete, yaş gruplarına ve okudukları fakültenin verdiği eğitim alanına göre değiştiği belirlenmiştir. Sağlıkla ilgili eğitim veren fakültelerin öğrencilerine sabır eğilimleri konusunda daha fazla destek sağlanması önerilir.

Investigation of Patience Tendencies of University Students in the Epidemic Process

Öz

In the study, the patience tendencies of students studying in different faculties during the corona virus process were examined. The sample of the students studying at Ardahan University is a total of 465 (female 218, male 247) students participating in the research. The “patience scale” developed by Doğan and Gülmez (2017) was used to collect the research data. Data analysis was done using SPSS 24 program. Parametric tests (t-test, ANOVA, LSD) were used in the analysis. While no significant difference was found between the gender variable of the students and the "interpersonal and short-term patience" sub-dimensions, the difference between the "long-term patience" sub-dimension and total patience scores was found to be significant. A significant difference was found between age groups and patience tendency scores. Interpersonal and long-term patience scores are lowest in the 17-21 age group and highest in the 27-31 age group. The short-term patience score is highest in the 17-21 age group and the lowest in the 27-31 age group. The total patience score was found to be highest in the 22-26 age group. Conclusion: It was determined that the patience tendencies of university students during the coronavirus 19 process changed according to gender, age groups and the field of education provided by the faculty they studied. It is recommended that students of faculties providing health education be provided with more support for their patience tendencies.
